I’m from Brisbane, Australia. I speak English and a small amount of Japanese.
趣味
Hobbies
I like to cook, 3D design, and make things in my free time. I also like exploring Japan, as Japan has such a large variety of places to go and see.
子どもたちと関わる中で大切にしていること
What do you value most when working with children?
I enjoy making the children laugh, and seeing when the children accomplish doing, or saying something that they’ve learned in class. Watching the development of the students’ abilities improve over time and seeing them apply what they have learned in real life applications.
KEAの好きなところ
What do you like most about KEA?
Kobe English Academy is a place that enables the ability to grow and try new things in class as everyone has an open mind learning and doing new things. This means that the students get to have a great range of new and evolving classes and activities. Also, all the team members, all help each other, adapting, and changing to one another’s needs to help each other in all aspects.

A message to parents
Hello, I am Carl.
I’m from Brisbane, Australia, and used to love going to the beach at the Gold Coast.
I came to Japan in 2020 and I’ve been teaching at Kobe English Academy for over 6 years.
Although I had no experience with teaching children before coming to Japan, KEA has given me the confidence to do so.
Currently I made and teach the curriculum for the computer digital classes, and the robotics classes. I am always striving to make the lesson as fun and entertaining as possible, while making sure children develop and progress towards being future leaders.
