Elinor Bendillo Okumiya

Hello, everyone! My name is Elinor, and you will find me teaching English in the Junior Class, Pre-K Class, Baby Class, After Class, Saturday Class, and helping out with the Kinder students during lunchtime.

I am from the Philippines. 
I speak Filipino, English, Cebuano, Bikolano, Waray, and am currently learning how to speak Japanese. 

In my free time, I like reading educational or non-fiction articles, watching documentaries and movies, walking around the neighborhood or park, and playing with my children or exploring new places with my family.

Teaching has been my passion and serves as one of the purposes of my life. I enjoy watching the children laugh, take little steps toward their milestones, brighten with discoveries, and satisfy their curiosity. I love being part of those who help them grow into young members of the community. The learning process is a very crucial step in a child’s journey, so I believe that when the children are enjoying and having fun, then learning becomes natural and more meaningful.

KEA feels like home not only for the students, but also for the staff. We try our best to build a safe, loving small community where everyone feels comfortable; where each day is a chance to grow, and we look forward to spending fun times together.
